Hey, and welcome to my website! I'm Liga — a wedding, family, and portrait photographer based in Hampshire. I’m passionate about capturing candid moments, meeting wonderful people, and preserving the special memories that make life beautiful.
My husband Nathan and I have been together for nine years and married for four. We've recently welcomed our beautiful son, Rupert, into the world, and our home is also shared with our two lively dogs, Potter and Olive — both full of character and endless energy! They keep us busy and fill our days with laughter.
Nathan and I originally started Newman Photographic together, driven by our shared love for storytelling through photography. While Nathan has since taken a different career path, I’ve continued to grow the business on my own, and I’m so proud of the journey it’s become.
When I photograph, I take the time to thoughtfully compose each shot — always prioritizing quality over quantity. My aim is to tell your story by capturing not only the big, unforgettable moments but also the quiet, intimate ones that often mean the most. My journey into photography began with my dad, who first introduced me to the world behind the lens. Before I committed to photography full time, I worked as a wedding manager — a background that gives me a unique advantage when photographing weddings, as I truly understand how the day flows and what matters most.
